About the Speaker

Vincent Liu, MD, MS, is the Chief Data Officer for The Permanente Medical Group at Kaiser Permanente (KP), a pulmonologist and intensivist at the KP Santa Clara Medical Center, and a Senior Research Scientist at the KP Division of Research. He leads programs in responsible AI implementation and data science to improve care delivery and patient outcomes. He has authored more than 200 scholarly publications and is an expert in the use of complex Electronic Health Record data and health system evaluation in acute care and sepsis. He has served as an expert panelist on AI and sepsis research for the NIH, NAM, NQF, and NCQA.
