About the Speaker
Dr. Liangyuan Hu is an Associate Professor of Biostatistics at Rutgers School of Public Health. She earned her PhD in Biostatistics from Brown University in 2015. She is currently the PI of multiple methodology grants, and is actively involved in the development of statistical methodology at the crossroads of causal inference and machine learning. Dr. Hu is the Associate Editor for AOAS, JRSSC and Biometrics and has a keen interest in the innovative application of cutting-edge statistical methods across a broad spectrum of biomedical research domains. In 2019, Dr. Hu received the Outstanding Statistical Application Award from the American Statistical Association.
