Florida+ Data Trust is a repository of healthcare data from Florida and other select states that is regularly updated with the inclusion of new partners and data refreshes from existing partners. The Data Trust contains claims and encounter data for Floridians enrolled in Medicaid and robust patient-level electronic health record data from other public and private healthcare systems. These data include diagnoses, procedures, medications, patient demographics, unique patient codes for re-identification by network partners, exposome data on the natural, built and social environments, and other data elements in the PCORnet Common Data Model (CDM). In total, the Data Trust contains data for approximately 26 million patients.
Data Summary
26 million Patients
960 million Dispensed Medications
2.3 Billion Procedures
2 Billion Diagnoses
420 Million Dispensed Medications
750 Million Claims
OneFlorida+ recognizes that patients receive their health care in multiple locations and that claims and EHR data are not naturally linked. Therefore, we work with our partners to link each person’s records from multiple health systems and claims to each other. We carry out this work in a way that maintains the privacy of the individual. Patient names, addresses, phone numbers, and so on are not shared among partners. For individual studies, data queries can be highly tailored, and OneFlorida+ is enhancing the Data Trust with data elements beyond the PCORnet Common Data Model.
